CMS installation fails

About this task

If the CMS installation fails and the system displays the cannot add another instance of CMS message, either the CMS package was not removed or the removal was not completely successful.

To continue with the installation:

Procedure

  1. Enter: cd /
  2. Enter: cmssvc
  3. Select option to Turn Avaya CMS on or off.
  4. Enter: cmssvc
  5. Select the number associated with uninstall.
  6. Restart the CMS installation.
