LDAP configure input error. Re-input based on failure code (49)

Condition

Connection to the LDAP Server is established, but there is a LDAP authentication issue. This issue occurs when there is a discrepancy between the LDAP server Bind Distinguished Name (DN) or Bind Distinguished Name (DN) password and configured Bind Distinguished Name (DN) or Bind Distinguished Name (DN_ password).

Solution

Procedure

  1. Determine the Bind DN and Bind DN password on the LDAP server.
  2. Do Updating the LDAP authentication package configuration to verify and reconfigure the Bind DN and Bind DN password:
    • Verify that the Bind DN value is set to the LDAP Server Bind DN.

    • If the Bind DN value is not set to the LDAP Server Bind DN, set the Bind DN value to the LDAP Server Bind DN.

    • Reset the Bind DN password to the Bind DN password.

  3. Verify the LDAP connectivity again using the following command: /cms/toolsbin/ldap_connection_test
