Configuring the ODBC and JDBC server software

This document describes using Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) and Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) to access data in the CMS database.

ODBC and JDBC databases enable you to:

  • Directly access CMS data from your software applications.

  • Use the data in spreadsheet programs and other applications.

  • Generate reports using data from multiple CMS sites.
