You can use this process to back up the file system. Encryption is supported for CMSADM backups. You can access the backup utility from the command line interface or through an unattended cron job. For more details, see CMSADM backup.
Important:
This option does not back up CMS data. To back up CMS data, you must perform a full maintenance backup in addition to the CMSADM backup. For more information about maintenance backups, see Administering Avaya Call Management System.
