About this task
You can use the procedures in this section to add disk storage space to a medium or large CMS virtual machine. You need to add disk storage space if the CMS server was not allocated the recommended maximum disk storage space when installed.
The recommended maximum disk storage space is:
Caution:
Small server configuration: Do not add extra disk storage space to a small server configuration. Adding disk storage space will not affect the service but may impact system performance.
Warning:
All server configurations:
Do not change any other resource settings. Changing allocated resources impacts the performance, capacity, and stability of the CMS virtual machine.
To run at full capacity, the server configuration must match the resource requirements outlined in the Deploying Avaya Call Management System document. Any deviation from the resource requirements is at the customer’s risk.
