Using Avaya Workspaces for Avaya Oceana®
Broadcasting a message to agents
Use this procedure to broadcast a message to agents in Avaya Workspaces. The application displays this message as a toast notification.
Note that only supervisors can do this task.
- In the navigation pane, click the My Agents icon (
).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Avaya Workspaces displays the list of agents in the team with the current agent status. - Click the Broadcast icon (
).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Avaya Workspaces displays the Broadcast panel. - Type a message and click Send.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Avaya Workspaces displays this message as a toast notification to all targeted agents.
- To broadcast messages to specific agents, use the filters.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:For example, you can select Status as Ready to view all Ready agents. If you then sent a broadcast message, Avaya Workspaces sends the message only to Ready agents.When you send a broadcast message, Avaya Workspaces sends the message to you too. You receive your own broadcast messages.
