Avaya Breeze® platform requires Secure Access Link (SAL) for remote access and for sending alarms to Avaya. A SAL gateway must be installed in the customer’s enterprise for Avaya Services remote access.

Avaya Breeze® platform generates alarms that reference hardware-related events, lost connections, and Avaya Breeze® platform software events.

The Avaya Aura® System Manager Web interface allows you to perform various operations for alarms. For more information, see Operations supported on System Manager for alarming.

Alarm codes identify the system component which generates the alarm. Alarms are classified by their effect on system operation.
