Description

SIP

Captures bidirectional SIP messages exchanged between Avaya Breeze® platform and remote SIP entities.

The captured SIP messages include:

  • Messages from security components, such as the SIP firewall.

  • Messages from users or call IDs for calls.

Use the captured SIP messages to troubleshoot or monitor an Avaya Breeze® platform server.

Media Server

Captures Media Server HTTP messages separately from other HTTP messages.

Combine the capture of Media Server HTTP messages and SIP messages to establish context for the Media Server messages for calls.

Breeze Platform

Captures the Avaya Breeze® platform platform messages, such as DEBUG-level trace messages for calls and HTTP requests.

Combine the capture of Avaya Breeze® platform platform messages with the desired protocol messages, such as SIP or HTTP, to identify logic errors.

traceMessage might use high CPU processing power and memory to capture the Avaya Breeze® platform platform messages, which might impact the performance of a busy Avaya Breeze® platform server.

Bus

Capture the Collaboration Bus messages of snap-ins that use Collaboration Bus.

traceMessage captures the internal messages of snap-ins, such as email, SMS, and events from Collaboration Bus.

TLS handshaking

Captures the TLS handshake messages using SIP and HTTPS.

Use the TLS handshake messages to identify certificate-related issues between Avaya Breeze® platform and Session Manager, Media Server, and snaps-in.

HTTP

Captures HTTPS requests and responses.

The HTTP messages captured include:

  • Request and response headers

  • HTTP method

  • Response status

  • Upstream Avaya Breeze® platform IP address

  • Response time

  • Snap-in name

Snap-Ins

Embeds snap-in logs with the results of the traceMessage captured messages.

All snap-in log levels, such as WARN, ERROR, INFO, and DEBUG, can be embedded with the captured messages. Use the combined captured messages and snap-in logs to troubleshoot snap-in problems.
