Security Module failure

Procedure

  1. Verify the status of the security module:
    1. On the System Manager web console, click Elements > Avaya Breeze.
    2. Click Server Administration.
    3. Verify that the status of the Avaya Breeze® platform security module is Up.
  2. Verify that the data replication status of the Avaya Breeze® platform instance is Synchronized.
    1. On the System Manager web console, click Services > Replication.
    2. Verify that the Synchronization Status of the Avaya Breeze® platform instance is Synchronized.
  3. Verify the status of the Avaya Breeze® platform server:
    1. Establish an SSH session with the Avaya Breeze® platform server.
    2. To check the status, run the following command: statapp
    3. To verify the configuration, run the following command: ceconfig
    4. To verify the network status, run the following command: ifconfig

Next Steps

If all troubleshooting steps fail, restart the security module using the following command: restart secmod.
