Configuring the Avaya Breeze platform Serviceability Agent

Procedure

  1. Change the Authentication Password and the Privacy Password according to the specifications of the customer for the System Manager TrapListener. See Configuring the TrapListener service.
  2. Set up an SNMPv3 User Profile to match the System Manager TrapListener settings. See Creating an SNMPv3 user profile.
  3. Set up a target profile for the System Manager TrapReceiver. See Creating an SNMP target profile.
  4. In System Manager, click Services > Inventory > Manage Serviceability Agents > Serviceability Agents.
  5. Verify the Avaya Breeze® platform Serviceability Agent hostname and IP address appear in the Agent List.
  6. Verify the status of the Avaya Breeze® platform Serviceability Agent is Active.
  7. If the status is not Active:
    1. Select the Avaya Breeze® platform Serviceability Agent.
    2. Click Activate.
    3. Verify the status changes to Active.
  8. Re-select the agent to enable the Manage Profiles button.
  9. Click Manage Profiles.
  10. Using the appropriate tabs, assign the target and user profiles.
  11. Click Commit.
