Resizing the Breeze Virtual Machine Disk on VMware

Last Updated : Nov 11, 2025 |

Condition

If you increase the disk size of a powered-on Avaya Breeze® platform 3.9 virtual machine, the VM will be corrupted after the next reboot. This issue does not occur with Avaya Breeze® platform 3.8.

Solution

Ensure that the VM is powered off before you expand the disk. Ensure all snapshots are removed from the Avaya Breeze® platform VMs before the resize operation and subsequent power on.
