Create a user profile to match the System Manager TrapListener settings.
Procedure
In System Manager, click Services > Inventory > Manage Serviceability Agents > SNMPv3 User Profiles.
Click New.
Enter the following information:
User Name: Enter the same SNMPv3 user name as the TrapListener. The default is initial.
Note:
The user name can contain the following characters: alphanumeric, period, underscore, white space, single quote, and hyphen. The user name cannot be an empty string.
Authentication Protocol: Use the Authentication Protocol of the TrapListener service. The default is md5.
Authentication Password: Use the Authentication Password of the TrapListener service.
Privacy Protocol: Use the Privacy Protocol of the TrapListener service. The default is AES.
Privacy Password: Use the Privacy Password of the TrapListener service.
Privileges: Select a privilege from the drop-down menu. Using the Read/Write privilege, you can perform both GET and SET operations on MIBs. Using the Read privilege, you can perform only the GET operation on MIBs. The default is None.
