Test Alarm Status

This test checks the alarm status of a particular Avaya Breeze® platform server. If the alarm functionality is working correctly, the test passes. An alarm is raised to check if the Avaya Breeze® platform server can raise an alarm to the System Manager database.

Note:

You must configure the Serviceability Agent before you run the alarm test.

Test Cluster Database

This test monitors the connection between Avaya Breeze® platform and the active cluster database.

Test Datagrid Cluster Manager

This test monitors the DataGrid Cluster Manager (DCM) process and Datagrid on the Avaya Breeze® platform server. The test fails and an alarm is raised if DCM is not running or when the Avaya Breeze® platform server is in a cluster and Datagrid is not running.

Test management link status

This test checks the administrative link to Avaya Breeze® platform. If this test fails, administrative changes cannot take effect on Avaya Breeze® platform.

Test Postgres database sanity

This test checks if the master database is corrupted.

Test Reliable Eventing Framework

This test verifies the reliable message delivery by the participating broker group. If the test fails, verify the following on the selected node:

  • Server status

  • Broker status

  • Network status

  • Deny New Service state

For more information, see Running Reliable Eventing Framework maintenance tests. For information on how to configure Reliable Eventing, see Administering Avaya Breeze® platform.

Test sanity of the Secure Access Link (SAL) agent

This tests checks if the Secure Access Link agent is running on the server. If the link is up and running, the test passes.

If the test fails, run the statapp command in the server that had the failure.

Test Call Processing status

This test is a call processing test for a particular Avaya Breeze® platform server. If call processing is working correctly, the test passes. If the test fails, troubleshoot the problem.

If the maintenance tests fail and the troubleshooting steps for the failed maintenance tests do not solve the problem, contact Avaya support personnel.

Test Alarm status

This test triggers the Avaya Breeze® platform node to send a test alarm to the provisioned destination. If the test alarm fails, check the serviceability agent configuration.

Test webSphere Hung Thread status

This test raises an alarm when it detects a hung thread in webSphere. If the problem persists, contact Avaya support personnel.
