Searching for logs

Use the advanced search function to find logs based on specified conditions. The system displays only those logs that satisfy the search conditions. You can specify multiple search conditions.

Procedure

  1. In System Manager, click Services > Events > Logs.
  2. Click Log Viewer.
  3. On the Logging page, click Advanced Search.
  4. In the Criteria section, from the first and second drop-down fields, select the search criterion and the operator.
  5. Select or enter the search value in the third field.
  6. If you want to add another search condition, click the + sign and repeat the steps 3 and 4.

    Click the - sign to delete a search condition. You can delete a search condition only if you added more than one search condition.

  7. Select the AND or OR operator from the drop-down field.

    This field appears when you specify more than one search condition.

  8. Click Search to find the logs for the given search conditions.
