Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication scheme that enables users to log in with a single ID to multiple independent software applications. With SSO, agents can log in to Avaya Workspaces for CRM using the same username and password that they use for Salesforce. To enable SSO, create a metadata file in Salesforce and upload it to Application Center Administration. In addition, ensure that the domain name you are using is not blocked.
The SAML v2 protocol is used to ensure privacy between the identity provider and Salesforce.
