Changing the system language

You can change the default system language of Avaya Vantage™ to a language of your choice.
Avaya Vantage™ and the built-in UC experience support the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Arabic.
  1. Go to the Settings menu of the device.
  2. Tap SystemLanguages & input.
  3. Tap Languages.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The Language preferences screen displays the current system language.
  4. Tap Add a language and select your preferred language from the available languages.
  5. Return to the Language preferences screen.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The screen displays the current system language and the newly selected language.
  6. At the upper-right corner of the screen, tap MenuRemove.
  7. Select all other languages in the list except your preferred language, and tap Delete.
  8. Click OK to confirm.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    The device refreshes to display text in the selected system language.
    To ensure proper display of text in your preferred language, keep one language in the Language preferences list.
  9. Restart the device to ensure that applications on the device apply the language change.
