Viewing and extending the guest login duration

Last Updated : Jun 11, 2024 |
Prolog information
After you log in as a guest to the Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience, you can monitor the time remaining before the session expires. The built-in UC experience warns you when the session is about to expire. If required, you can extend the session time.
Note:
When the built-in UC experience displays the warning, you cannot navigate to other pages on the built-in UC experience without taking any action on the warning page. You can only choose to log out or extend your session time. If you take no action, the device automatically logs you out after the session time expires.
When the screen lock is enabled and the device enters sleep mode, it does not display the warning about the approaching expiration of the guest login session.
  1. On Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience, tap Extension.
    STEP RESULT:
The timer below the Extend guest login time option displays the time remaining for the session to expire.
  2. To extend the guest session time, do one of the following:
    • On the built-in UC experience menu, tap Extend guest login time.
    • On the pop-up warning about the approaching end of the session, tap EXTEND TIME.
  3. Tap the plus sign (+) or the minus sign (-) to set the guest login duration according to your requirement, and tap OK.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
You can set the session duration from 1 to 12 hours.
    STEP RESULT:
The timer resets to display the changed session time.
