Avaya Vantage™ Release 3.2 introduces the following new features and enhancements:

Operating system upgrade to Android 12

Avaya Vantage™ Release 3.2 introduces a significant upgrade to the operating system, now powered by Android 12. This update provides improved system performance, more effective privacy features, and a UI that responds quickly.

Secure call indicator

Avaya Vantage™ now supports the end-to-end secure call indicator provided by Avaya Aura®. For an active call on Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience, the Call screen displays a secure call icon (padlock) if the call is end-to-end secured. The Switch Call option also displays the secure call icon for an active call in the background. Feature buttons on Expansion Module, such as bridged call appearances, can display the secure call icon for an active call.

Forwarded call indication for incoming calls

Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience now displays an indication for incoming calls that are forwarded from another extension. You can see the forwarded call indication on the incoming call alerts, the active Call screen, and the Call History tab.

Bridged Call Appearance

Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience now supports making a call using a bridged call appearance on behalf of the extension owner. On the built-in UC experience, you can select your primary extension or a bridged call appearance to make an outgoing call.

Guest login

Avaya Vantage™ now supports a guest or visiting user to temporarily log in to the Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience that another user is already using. The guest user can use the Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience for a specific duration to access their contacts and call history and to make calls using their extension. During a guest login, the primary user data are not available to the guest user. After the guest user logs off, Avaya Vantage™ does not retain the guest user data, including contacts and call logs.

Auto intercom

Avaya Vantage™ supports the auto intercom feature in an Avaya Aura® environment. You can press an auto intercom feature button on Expansion Module to call another user in your intercom group. Each auto intercom feature button initiates calls to a predefined extension. You can use an auto intercom button to answer an auto intercom call from that extension.
