Ending a guest login session

Prolog information
Use this procedure to log out as a guest user from the Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience. Avaya Vantage™ automatically logs the primary user back after the guest user logs off or after the guest session expires. After the automatic login, the primary user must provide their password to unlock the device.
A guest login session ends automatically after the session time expires unless an active call exists. Avaya Vantage™ does not log you out automatically if you are on a call when the session time elapses. Instead, it logs you out immediately after the call ends.
  1. To end the guest login session, do one of the following:
    • On the built-in UC experience, tap ExtensionLogout.
    • On the pop-up warning about the approaching end of the session, tap Logout.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Depending on the settings your administrator configures, you can also log out from a locked device using the Logout option on the locked screen.
If you are on an active call, end the call before trying to log out.
    STEP RESULT:
The guest logout followed by the automatic login of the primary user takes approximately 60 to 70 seconds to complete.
