Configuring notification preferences

Use this procedure to configure notifications of services, including calendar events and instant messages, on Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience.
By default, all notifications are enabled for Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience. You can disable all notifications of Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience to appear on the notification area of the device. You can enable or disable a specific type of notification, such as instant messages. You can also modify the notification sound and visual alert behavior.
  1. On Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience, tap ExtensionUser Settings.
  2. Tap Notification Settings.
  3. To disable all notifications of the built-in UC experience, disable Show notifications.
  4. To configure preferences for a specific type of notification, enable Show notifications and tap the notification type from the list.
    For example, to configure the notifications of instant messages, tap Vantage Connect Messages.
  5. To enable or disable the selected notification type, use the Show notifications toggle switch.
  6. To set whether you want sound, visual, or both alerts for notifications, tap Behavior, and choose one of the following:
    • Make sound and pop on screen
    • Make sound
    • Show silently
    • Show silently and minimize
  7. Tap Sound and select a tone that you want the device to play for notifications.
  8. To receive the selected type of notifications when Do Not Disturb is turned on, enable Override Do Not Disturb.
