Avaya Vantage™ supports digital calling capability on Avaya Spaces as a part of its cloud solution, complementing its built-in UC experience. Avaya Spaces digital calling provides you an enhanced call experience that includes audio device selection and integration with Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience.

The digital calling feature in Avaya Spaces works as an over-the-top, point-to-point communication between two Spaces contacts, independent of the built-in UC experience. You can make a video call to a Spaces contact. Additionally, if you have a phone number associated with a contact on the Avaya Spaces account, you can call the contact's line number, leveraging the built-in UC experience from Spaces.

You can tap to select your preferred audio device at the start or during a Spaces call. By default, the audio device you last use for a call on Avaya Spaces or Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience is used as the active audio device for subsequent calls on Avaya Spaces or Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience.

While on an active call on Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience, if you accept an incoming Avaya Spaces call, the call on Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience is put on hold. Conversely, if you accept a call on Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience during an Avaya Spaces call, the Avaya Spaces call gets disconnected.
