Avaya Spaces calls and meetings

Prolog information
On Avaya Vantage™, you can use Avaya Spaces to:
  • Start a meeting.
  • Join a meeting.
  • Make a digital call to a Spaces contact.
  • Make a call to a Spaces contact's phone number using Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience.
  • Mark spaces and contacts as favorites.
On Avaya Vantage™, the Avaya Spaces application supports the following call and meeting features:
  • Meeting controls, such as mute or unmute audio, block or unblock video, select your audio device, share screen, record a meeting, and end a call.
  • Indication of the live speaker in the presentation view during a Spaces call or meeting.
  • Tab view to manage tasks, view the participants and chat with them.
  • Advanced option to send a video or presentation to an external screen using the Avaya Vantage™ HDMI port during a Spaces call or meeting.
  • Advanced option to send a presentation to your personal computer (PC) and share content from your computer screen during a Spaces call or meeting. For this, log in to Avaya Spaces and your computer using the same enterprise account.
  • If Avaya Alexa is available on your device, you can join a Spaces meeting using Avaya Alexa.
Additionally, you can use:
  • Avaya Vantage™ wired or wireless handset for Spaces calls or meetings.
    Note that when you press the Mute button on your wireless handset, the Avaya Vantage™ UI does not indicate that your audio is muted.
  • USB or Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with Avaya Vantage™ for providing the input on Avaya Spaces. On K155, you can use the integrated keypad for the input.
  • On K155, Avaya Spaces supports the Speaker and Headset hard keys. You can use these hard keys to:
    • Answer a Spaces digital call.
      However, you cannot answer a Spaces call using the Speaker or Headset hard key if a call is already active on Avaya Vantage™ built-in UC experience or Avaya Spaces. You must answer the incoming call using the application UI.
    • End a Spaces call or meeting when audio is routed through speakers or a headset.
    • Route the audio during a Spaces call or meeting to speakers or a headset.
