Sending presentation to your personal computer during a Spaces meeting

Last Updated : Mar 16, 2022 |
Prolog information
During a Spaces meeting on Avaya Vantage™, you can extend the ongoing presentation to your personal computer (PC) to watch it on a larger screen. Additionally, you can also start sharing from your PC using the same procedure.
Avaya Vantage™ supports the offloading of communications from your PC to Avaya Vantage™. Therefore, when you extend a Spaces meeting to your PC in the presentation-only mode, you can easily start sharing content from your computer screen. This simple and intuitive feature to send the presentation to or share from your PC enables you to join even those meetings from Avaya Vantage™ where you need to present.
Before you begin
Ensure the following:
  • Log in to your PC with the same enterprise account that you use to log in to Avaya Spaces on Avaya Vantage™.
  • You are in an active Spaces meeting on Avaya Vantage™, and the meeting has an ongoing presentation.
  • You are a registered member of the Spaces meeting room. You cannot send the presentation to your PC if you join the meeting as a guest.
  1. On the active Spaces meeting screen on Avaya Vantage™, tap Display.
  2. Tap Send presentation to PC.
    STEP RESULT:
Avaya Spaces on Avaya Vantage™ displays the Notify PC client message.
Your PC displays a notification on the status bar. The notification shows the meeting room name and the message:
Click to start presentation only session
  3. Click the notification on your PC.
    STEP RESULT:
The Spaces meeting room opens in the default web browser on your computer in the presentation-only mode. If the meeting has an ongoing presentation, Avaya Spaces starts displaying the presentation on your PC screen. Avaya Vantage™ automatically changes the meeting view to display video.
  4. On the Avaya Vantage™ screen, tap Presentation view or Video view at the top right corner of the meeting room to toggle between presentation and video views.
  5. To present content from your computer screen, on your PC, click Share.
