Adding numbers to an announcement-only extension

You can apply local, toll-free, or vanity numbers to announcement-only extensions to enable external callers to listen to the announcements.
  1. On the Admin Portal homepage, click Phone SystemGroupsAnnouncement-Only Extensions.
  2. Select the announcement-only extension.
  3. Click to expand Direct Numbers and click Add Direct Number.
  4. From the Number Type list, select the appropriate number type.
  5. Click Next.
    STEP RESULT:
    Avaya Cloud Office Service Web assigns the select phone number to the announcement-only extension.
