You can use Page groups to make real-time announcements to deskphones and overhead paging devices. To assign an existing Paging Only group to a site, follow the steps from the service web tab home page.
Log in to Admin Portal.
Click GroupsManage Groups.
Click the Phone System tab.
Click GroupsPaging Only.
Click New Paging Only to create a new paging group.
Enter a group name in the Group Name field.
In the Extension Number field, accept the incremental number offered or choose a unique number, and click Save.
STEP RESULT:
A dialog box is displayed to confirm the successful addition of the new group. It also offers an option to configure paging-related settings.
