A ring group enables you to configure two or more devices or numbers to ring simultaneously for the same duration. After a ring group is created, you can deactivate or activate the ring group when necessary. Additionally, you can remove devices or numbers from a ring group without deleting the entire group.
Before you begin
Create a ring group.
Click UsersUser ListUsers with Extensions.
Click the name of the user whose custom rule you want to set up.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
You can search for the user in the Search field.
From the Phone drop-down, select Incoming call rules.
Under Incoming call rules, My work day section, click Work hours to expand.
Scroll to Ring settings.
To activate a ring group, turn on the toggle next to the preferred ring group.
To deactivate a ring group, turn off the toggle next to the preferred ring group.
To remove devices or numbers from a ring group without removing the entire ring group, click the device or number to remove, and click Delete.
