Configuring Direct Numbers

Direct number settings enable the user to set the phone number for the auto-receptionist, video and audio conferencing rules for the delegated line.
  1. Log in to Admin Portal.
  2. Click Phone SystemGroupsDelegated Lines.
  3. Select a delegated line and click the Direct Numbers dropdown.
  4. Click the Add Direct Number tab.
  5. In the Select Numbers tab, click to select from the dropdown list and edit the Location, Number Type, and Cost Center details.
  6. Add the number information in the State/Province and Area Code tabs.
  7. Select a number from the number inventory and click the Add Numbers button.
  8. Click Next.
    STEP RESULT:
    A page is displayed to assign the number to The Campaign Registry registration.
  9. Click Assign later or Assign now to enable SMS for the selected number.
    STEP RESULT:
    The number is displayed in the list.
  10. Click Edit to change the details.
  11. Click Save.
