Unassigned extensions are user extensions you set up but yet to assign. Depending on the way you set them up, unassigned extensions can have associated phone numbers, phones, or both.

From the Unassigned Extensions page, you can view the unassigned extensions in your company account, add new ones, and activate these extensions by assigning them to new users. If the Multi-site feature is enabled on your company account, you can filter the unassigned extensions by site and change their sites.

When you delete a user, Avaya Cloud Office Service Web moves this user's extension to the Unassigned Extensions page. You can then delete the unassigned extension permanently from your company account.
