set echo-cancellation analog

Controls echo cancellation on analog lines and trunks.

Note:

The recommended setting for all analog trunks and lines is the default auto mode.

Syntax

set echo-cancellation analog slot [port] {on|off|auto}

slot

Number of the slot, represented as a number preceded by the letter v. For example, slot 1 is represented as v1.

port

Number of the port on the module, represented as two digits. For example, port 2 is represented as 02. If you do not specify a port, the command applies to all ports in this slot.

on

Keyword specifying that echo cancellation be always on for the analog line or trunk

off

Keyword specifying that echo cancellation be always off for the analog line or trunk

auto

  • For analog lines: keyword specifying that echo cancellation be always on.

  • For analog trunks: keyword specifying that the gateway controller function chooses when to employ the analog echo canceller on a call-by-call basis automatically for best echo coverage.

This is the default value.
