login authentication password-no-change interval

Last Updated : Apr 02, 2020 |

Use the login authentication password-no-change interval command to configure how often users can change their passwords using the password CLI command. By default, the passwords cannot be changed more frequently than once per 24 hours period. Using this command the Security Administrator can change the interval in the range of 1 to 48 hours or disable the restriction on how often passwords are changed using a value of 0.

Note:

The security administrator can always change passwords without restrictions using the username CLI command, independently from the value configured with this command.
