session

Provides the means to establish a session with the active Media Gateway Controller, SAT, or the device.

This is an alias to Telnet. The mgc option Telnets to the active Media Gateway Controller.

You want to access the server SAT terminal with session mgc sat, and session icc sat, the SAT port must be set to 5023 on the server. If you are using session mgc and session icc, the server must allow access to the Telnet port (23).

Note:

The session icc sat command does not work on an S8300 running VSP. You must use session mgc instead.

Syntax

session {{mgc [sat> | icc [sat]}}

Note:

Telnet remains disabled on S8300, and the command does not work unless enabled.
