keepalive-icmp interval

Sets the interval (in seconds) between keepalive packets. Using this command without a parameter resets the interval value to the default value.

Syntax

keepalive-icmp interval seconds

seconds	The interval time (in seconds)	1-36	5

To set the interval between keepalive packets to 5 seconds:

Gxxx-001(if:FastEthernet )# keepalive-icmp interval 5
