speed (interface)

Controls the speed setting for the interface.

Note:

This command functions only in no autoneg mode.

Syntax

speed speed_rate


Parameter	Description	Possible Values	Default Value
speed_rate	The interface speed	10MB 100MB

read-write

interface:FastEthernet (L2, L2-L3, PPP L2, PPP L2-L3)

To set the interface speed to 100MB:

Gxxx-001(if:FastEthernet )# speed 100MB
