Updating voicemail settings

About this task

You can configure the voicemail setting, such as a first and last name of the voicemail user, feature group, desktop capability, unlock voicemail account, and timezone from Admin Portal.

Procedure

  1. From Admin Portal, go to Resources > Voicemail.

    Admin Portal displays the list of existing voicemails.

  2. Optional From the Server list, select the required Avaya Messaging server to filter the list.
  3. Find the voicemail to update and click the Edit icon.
  4. From the Action list, select Voicemail Settings.
  5. In the First Name and Last Name field, enter the required name of the voicemail user.
  6. From the Feature Group list, select the required feature group.
  7. From the Desktop Capability list, select the required desktop capability.
  8. From the Timezone list, select the required timezone for the voicemail user.
  9. Optional Use the Mailbox Locked check box to lock or unlock your voicemail account.
  10. Click Submit.
