Answering a station extension call

Last Updated : Feb 20, 2020 |
Prolog information
When you receive an incoming call on a station’s extension, the phone screen does not display any prefix. The first and the second display lines display the name of the caller and the number of the caller.
The call on a station’s extension does not depend on your work mode and login status.
When you are logged out, the station considers an incoming call as a call to a UC phone and not to a CC phone.
When you receive an incoming call, the icon next to the extension flashes.
Note:
If you are busy on an ACD or a DAC call, or when all the call appearances on your phone are busy, then the system does not route an incoming station extension call to your phone. Depending on the configuration, either the caller hears a busy tone or the system routes the call to the voice mail.
  1. Press the call appearance key next to the flashing extension icon to answer the incoming call.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
When you answer the incoming call, the icon becomes active till the time the call is active.
  2. Press the Release button or place the handset on hook to end the call.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Either you or the caller can end the call.
