You can activate the After Call Work mode in one of the following ways:
Press the ACW button on the phone either after ending the call or while on the call.
If you press the button while on the call, the After Call Work icon flashes to indicate pending. When the call ends, the mode changes to After Call Work. The After Call Work icon becomes active. New incoming calls are not routed to your phone until you change the mode to Auto-In or Manual-In again. If a call work code is required, press the CWC key and enter the required information.
If you press the ACW button after ending the call, the After Call Work icon becomes active. New incoming calls are not routed to your phone until you change the mode to Auto-In or Manual-In again. If a call work code is required, press the CWC key and enter the required information.
If you are in the Manual-in mode, the mode automatically transitions to After Call Work after you end the call, and the After Call Work icon becomes active. New incoming calls are not routed to your phone until you change the mode to Auto-In or Manual-In again.
If you are in the Auto-in mode and if the system administrator has configured Timed After Call Work (TACW), then the mode changes to TACW and the After Call Work icon becomes active after you end the call. The server runs a timer for the After Call Work. On expiry, the server returns the work mode to Auto-In. New incoming calls are routed to your phone after the mode changes to Auto-in again.
