Last Updated : Feb 27, 2020 |
Prolog information
You can activate the Auxiliary work mode to notify the system that you are unavailable to receive call center calls. Depending on the Auxiliary work mode feature configuration for your call center, you might need to specify a Reason code when switching to the Auxiliary work mode.
For more information about the Reason codes that are configured for your call center, contact your system administrator or supervisor.
Your desk phone supports the Interruptible Auxiliary work feature. If configured for your system, this feature can display messages, such as You are needed, and the system can change your status to Auto-in or Manual-in.
  1. On the phone, press Aux work.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
If the Reason code is required to switch to the Auxiliary work mode, enter the Reason code.
Result
The Auxiliary work icon next to the Aux work button becomes active and, if entered, the Reason code appears on the display line.
Note:
If you press the Aux work button while on an active call, the Auxiliary work pending icon appears on the phone. The work mode changes to Auxiliary work only after you end the call.
