Calling an agent from the supervisor’s phone

If you are a supervisor, you can make a Direct Agent Call (DAC) to an agent from your phone.
Before you begin
Ensure that:
  • The phone has an idle call appearance key to make an outgoing call.
  • The administrator has assigned the required credentials to you to make DAC calls to an agent.
  • The administrator has programmed the agent ID on one of the programmable feature key or on the expansion module.
  1. Press the login button on the phone and enter your supervisor ID and password, if configured.
  2. Press the call appearance key to make an outgoing call, and do one of the following:
    • Dial the agent’s ID from the dial pad.
    • Press the configured programmable feature key to auto dial the agent ID.
      Depending on the configuration, you can use autodial feature key programmed with the agent ID to make a DAC call.
Next steps
Press the Release button or place the handset on hook to end an active call.
