If the Auto-Answer feature is enabled for your phone, an incoming call is auto-answered by using the hands-free audio device of the phone. The phone provides a short buzz tone to alert the agent that the call is being auto-answered.
An incoming call is auto-answered on your phone only if the following conditions are met:
The system administrator has configured the Auto-Answer feature for your phone.
The incoming call arrives when the phone is in an idle state or an existing call is on hold.
The incoming call is on the primary DN key, that is, the primary call appearance.
