By default, the phone screen displays the programmed Button Feature as a Button Label. Using the following procedure, you can edit the button label as required.
Editing a button label does not depend on your login status.
Press the Telephone Options feature key.
Use the cursor keys to select FeatureKey label.
STEP RESULT:
The phone screen displays the following options:
Change FeatureKey label
Restore all key labels
Restore one key label
Select Change FeatureKey label.
Press the programmable feature key of the Button Feature for which you want to change the default label.
Type the new label followed by delimiter :.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The maximum length of a button label is 10 characters.
