Last Updated : Feb 20, 2020 |
Prolog information
You can make an outgoing call from your phone using the bridged appearance key regardless of whether you have logged in or not, and regardless of your work mode.
Before you begin
Ensure that you have an idle bridged appearance key to make an outgoing call.
If you want to transfer an active call or establish a conference with the ongoing caller then you do not require an idle call appearance key.
  1. Do one of the following:
    • Press the bridged appearance key to make an outgoing call.
    • If you are on an active call, press the transfer or conference soft key to initiate transfer or conference.
    • If you are on an active call and the call is on hold, press the bridged appearance key to make an outgoing call.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
When you are making an outgoing call, then the Bridged appearance extension number will be used as the caller ID for the outgoing call.
  2. Dial the number of your contact from the dial pad.
    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
If the called party is available and answers the call, an active call is established between you and the called party.
To cancel a transfer or conference and return to the original call, press the line appearance button.
Next steps
Press the Release button or place the handset on hook to end an active call.
