If the system administrator has enabled Sequential Registration for you, and if you are logged in at an extension by using your agent ID, then Avaya Aura® Call Center Elite allows you to log in at any other extension with the same agent ID and with the same status.
For example, you log in with the agent ID 1234@avaya.com at an extension with IP address 11.22.33.44 and extension number 1234. If you use Sequential Registration to log in at another extension with IP address 22.33.44.55 with the same agent ID 1234@avaya.com, then the extension with IP address 22.33.44.55 registers the extension number 1234 and unregisters with IP address 11.22.33.44.
As a result, the extension with IP 11.22.33.44 cannot make any call until:
-
You press the Reset button to send a registration request for 11.22.33.44. This is applicable only for Device Adapter phones.
-
You reboot the extension with IP 11.22.33.44 and enter a new TN. This is applicable only for Device Adapter phones.
-
You log in with a different agent ID.
