The IP Office can use Apple Push Notification Service (APNS) to send push notifications to Avaya Workplace Client users on iOS devices. If iOS has suspended the client, the user can use controls in the notification to restart the client.

• The IP Office will send push notifications for new calls and for new voicemail messages.

• If using the Avaya one-X Portal as its messaging server, the IP Office will also send push notifications for instant messages.
