Type of View
Click the type of view you want to create.
The following are the options:
  • Table
  • Billboard
  • Bar Chart
  • Column Chart
  • Pie Chart
You cannot create a billboard view for active data and DNC import jobs.
Type of Data
Click the data category that you want to monitor in the view.
For example, Active Campaigns or Staffed Agents.
However, depending on the type of view you select, the following options are not available in this field:
  • The Imports option is not displayed in this field if you select Billboard in the Type of View field.
  • The Inbound Skills option is not displayed in this field if you select Pie Chart in the Type of View field. You can create a Pie Chart only for measures that contain type or status data. Whereas, Inbound Skills does not have any measures that contain type or status data.
The options that are available in this field depend on the role and privileges that are assigned to your user account for the Monitor component in Avaya Experience Portal.

Type of Instance
This field is displayed only if you select BillBoard in the Type of View field.
Click one of the following options:
  • Single: If you want to present data of only a single record from the measure you select in the Measures field.
For example, you want to present the average talk time of a specific staffed agent only on the billboard.

Select <field name based on the type of data>
This field is displayed only if you:

  • Select a data category in the Type of Data field.
However, note that this field is not displayed if you select Bar Chart or Column Chart in the Type of View field and Imports in the Type of Data field.
If you create a bar or column chart for the Imports data, that is, active data and DNC import jobs, the bar or column chart is created for all import jobs that are currently running.
The options that are displayed in this field depend on the type of view you select in the Type of View field and the data category you select in the Type of Data field.
  • For a billboard view, this field displays the following depending on the data category you select:
    • For Active Campaigns: Displays the list of all campaigns that are configured in POM, irrespective of the status of the campaigns.
You can create a billboard for a campaign even if the campaign is currently not running.
If you create a billboard for a campaign that is currently not running, a dash (-) is displayed on the billboard. Data is updated on the billboard when the campaign starts running.
    • For Staffed Agents: Displays the agents who are part of the agent group that is assigned to the supervisor who has currently logged on to the Supervisor Dashboard. This field displays all such agents irrespective of whether the agents are currently logged in.
You can create a billboard for the agents even if the agents are currently not logged in.
If you create a billboard for an agent who is currently not logged in, a dash (-) is displayed on the billboard. Data is updated on the billboard when the agent logs in.
    • For License Summary: Displays a combination of campaign names with the node names that are currently running.
You can create a license summary billboard for a campaign node only if the campaign node is running.
    • For Inbound Skills: Displays the list of inbound skills that are currently available for monitoring.
You can create a billboard for the inbound skills only if POM is installed in the Call Center Elite mode and an inbound skill is currently available for monitoring.
If you select Single in Type of Instance, then you can select only one record in this field.
If you select Multiple in Type of Instance, then you can select multiple records in this field.
For example, if you are creating a multiple instance billboard for Active Campaigns, you can select multiple campaigns in this field.
  • For the bar chart and column chart views, this field displays the following depending on the data category you select:
    • For Active Campaigns: Displays the list of the active campaigns.
    • For Staffed Agents: Displays the list of staffed agents who are part of the agent group that is assigned to the supervisor who has currently logged on to the Supervisor Dashboard. Staffed agents are agents who are currently logged in.

For example, if you are creating a custom table view for staffed agents, you can select the Agent Name, Agent State, and Job ID measures to monitor the staffed agents based on this data.
The measures that are displayed under Measures depend on the options you select in the Type of View and Type of Data fields.
  • For a table view: All measures that are displayed in the respective dashboard of a data category are displayed in this field.
For example, if you are creating a table view for Active Campaigns, then all measures that are displayed in the Active Campaigns dashboard are displayed in this field.
If you are creating a table view, you can select one or more measures.
  • For a single instance billboard view: All measures that are displayed in the respective dashboard of a data category are displayed in this field.
For example, if you are creating a single instance billboard for Staffed Agents, then all measures that are displayed in the Staffed Agents dashboard are displayed in this field.
If you are creating a single instance billboard view, you can select only one measure.
  • For a multiple instance billboard view: Only measures that contain string and numeric data type are displayed in this field.
For example, Campaign Name and Call Count measures of Active Campaigns.
Measures that contain date and time and percentage data are not displayed in this field.
If you are creating a multiple instance billboard view, you can select only one measure.
Depending on the data type of the measure, the multiple instance billboard displays the total count of the selected records or the total sum of the values of the selected records from the measure. For more information, see Custom view types.
If you are creating a multiple instance billboard for Active Campaigns and select the Job Status or Campaign Type measure, then the upper-right corner of the right pane displays a drop-down field containing the values of the selected measure.
Similarly, if you are creating a multiple instance billboard for Staffed Agents and select the Agent State, Call State, Agent Job State, or Acquire State measure, a drop-down field containing the values of the selected measure is displayed in the right pane.
In the drop-down field, you can select the value of the measure to create a multiple instance billboard based on the value.
For example, if you are creating a multiple instance billboard for Active Campaigns, which are, campaign 1 and campaign 2, for the Job Status measure, and select the Queued and Running status values in the drop-down field displayed in the right pane, then the billboard displays the total count of campaigns from campaign 1 and 2 that are currently in any of these states.
  • For a bar chart or column chart view: Only measures that contain numeric and percentage data are displayed in this field.
For example, the Filtered Contacts and Percent Complete (%) measures of Active Campaigns.
If you are creating a bar or column chart view, you can select one or more measures.
  • For a pie chart view: Only measures that contain type and status data are displayed in this field.
For example, the Job Status measure of Active Campaigns and the Allocation Type measure of License Summary.
If you are creating a pie chart view, you can select only one measure.
When you select a measure, the upper-right corner of the right pane displays a drop-down field. This drop-down field contains the values of the selected measure. For example, if you select the Agent State measure of Staffed Agents, the drop-down field displays the various agent states. In the drop-down field, you can select the value of the measure to create a pie chart based on the value.
For example, you can create a pie chart for the Job Status measure of Active Campaigns, and select the Queued and Running status values in the drop-down field. The pie chart displays the number of active campaigns that are currently in the Queued and Running states.
For more information about the measures that are available for creating a pie chart view, see Custom view types.

You can do the following in the right pane:
  • Below the custom view, the right pane displays the selected measures. You can click the down arrow corresponding to a measure name and click the format in which you want the data to appear in the custom view.
For example, if a measure contains timestamp type of data, you can specify the date and time format in which the data should appear in the custom view.
The down arrow is available only in the measures that provide an option to select a data format.
For information about the data formats in which you can present the data in the custom views, see Supported data formats for measures in custom views.
  • You can also filter the data, resize the columns, and rearrange the column positions in the right pane when creating or editing a custom view. However, note that these changes are not saved.
