Downloading log files

About this task

Download the log files that Avaya Workspaces creates for your session to send them to an account administrator. The administrator uses log files to monitor system activity and troubleshoot issues. You can download the following types of log files:

  • Avaya Workspaces Unified Widget Framework (UWF) log files.

  • Log files created for Proactive Outreach widgets.

  • Network HTTP Archive (HAR) log files.

Procedure

  1. To download the Avaya Workspaces UWF log files, do the following:
    1. At the top of the Proactive Outreach layout, click the Settings icon.
    2. Click the Logs tab.
    3. Select the time period for downloading log files.

      For example, if you select Last 10 minutes, Avaya Workspaces downloads the log files created during the last 10 minutes.

    4. Click Download.

      Avaya Workspaces downloads a .zip file with the log files created during the selected time period.

  2. To download the log files created for Proactive Outreach widgets, open the Outbound Agent Connector widget and click the Download Log files icon.

    Avaya Workspaces downloads a .txt file with the log files created for Proactive Outreach widgets.

  3. To download HAR log files, do the following:
    1. In the Proactive Outreach layout, press F12.
    2. In the Developer Tools window, click the Network tab.
    3. Select the required options and click the Download icon.

    Avaya Workspaces downloads a .har file with the network HAR log files.
