Accepting an acquire call

About this task

Accept an acquire call that Avaya Workspaces routes to you to handle outbound interactions. You cannot handle inbound interactions while on an acquire call. After you accept an acquire call, Avaya Workspaces displays the first available Proactive Outreach interaction card with the following widgets:

  • Customer Details

  • Proactive Outreach Tools

  • Screen Pop

An account administrator can configure Avaya Workspaces to auto-accept voice interactions, including acquire calls.

Important:

Do not click the End Interaction icon next to an acquire call, as it might prevent Avaya Workspaces from routing an outbound interaction to you.

Procedure

  1. In the Proactive Outreach layout, click Go Ready.

    Avaya Workspaces routes an acquire call to you.

  2. To accept the acquire call, click the Accept icon.

    Avaya Workspaces accepts the acquire call and displays the first accessible Proactive Outreach interaction card to you.
