Diagnostics menu overview

You can access the Diagnostics menu from the web interface side pane. You do not need the administrator password to access the menu. However, Avaya recommends that only administrators and trained personnel perform codec diagnostics.

From the Diagnostics menu, you can perform the following operations:

  • View and adjust the audio level for all connected devices. You can also test audio input volume level and quality.

  • View video input resolution and refresh encoding parameters.

  • Test the network connection for different nodes and capture traffic for troubleshooting purposes.

  • View quality and network information for an active call.

  • View codec details, such as the serial number, device model, MAC address, and software version.

  • Download log files and clear all log entries.
