Downloading log files

About this task

You can set up the logging level and determine if you want to save the log information as a file archive or send it to a log server from the Others submenu of the Settings menu. After configuring the logging details, you can download the log file archive from the Diagnostics menu. You can then unpack the archive and search for the relevant details for diagnostics and troubleshooting. For example, you can search for errors in the c9root.txt file.

Procedure

  1. On the Diagnostics menu, click Log Information.
  2. On the Log Information page, click Download Log.

    The web interface starts generating the log file archive and displays the download countdown. When the archive is generated, you can see the corresponding message on the web interface page and you can access the archive in your Downloads folder.
