Configure the IP network parameters for the codec and determine if you want to use automatic DHCP assignment or manually specify the IP address and other related settings.
Procedure
On the Settings menu, go to Network > IP.
On the IP page, for the Work Mode setting, one of the following IP network work modes:
Auto: The codec automatically determines the network work mode.
One of the values corresponding to your network parameters.
For the Connection Type setting, select one of the following options:
DHCP: The codec obtains the IP address from the DHCP server.
Static IP: You manually specify the IP address and other related settings.
If you selected manual IP assignment, in the IP Address field, type the codec IP address.
In the Netmask field, type the subnet mask address.
In the Gateway field, type the default gateway IP address.
In the DNS1 Address field, type the primary DNS server IP address.
In the DNS2 Address field, type the secondary DNS server IP address.
The secondary DNS server IP address is used if the primary DNS server is unavailable.
