Uploading the capture file to an S8300 Server

Procedure

  1. As root update /etc/ssh/sshd_config changing to: PasswordAuthentication yes.
  2. As root update /etc/ecs.conf changing to: CustomSSHFiles enabled.
  3. As root run the systemctl restart sshd .
  4. Log on to Branch Gateway.
  5. Use the copy capture file scp command to upload the capture file.

    For example:

    Gxxx-001(super)# copy capture-file scp capfile.cap 149.49.43.96
  6. At the SCP login prompt, enter a valid S8300 user (not a service user).
  7. At the SCP password prompt, enter the user password.
  8. Optionally, enter show upload status 10 to view upload status.

    For example:

    Gxxx-001(super)# show upload status 10
